BEIJING, April 19. - Amandeep Johl and Jyoti Randhawa, fresh from their Dynasty Cup experience, will return to tournament play, as they feature in the Johnnie Walker Classic beginning at the Pine Valley Golf Resort from Thursday.

The Asian contingent will be strong force at the event, as 11 of the 12 members who formed the Asian team will be seen in action here too.

In this event with European and Australian Tour, the championship will also feature five of the Europe’s Ryder Cup winning team members.

India’s strong contingent will be led by Randhawa, who despite some fine play against Shingo Katayama in the singles in Dynasty Cup, was unable to win any of his three matches.

Johl is the other man in form. India’s other challengers at this $ 2.2 million event will be Jeev Milkha Singh, who has been in top 10 in both his appearances in Japan Tour this season, Harmeet Kahlon and Rahil Gangjee. Barring Johl, all other Indians have won on the Asian Tour.

The cast at the event will also Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.

Els, winner of back-to-back titles in Dubai and Qatar last month, and Goosen, the reigning US Open Champion who finished joint third in the Masters Tournament earlier this month, are joined by Spain’s Sergio Garcia and Australian Adam Scott from the World’s Top Ten on the Jack Nicklaus designed Pine Valley Golf Resort.
